Patience

 Today's reflection

                                                                    Patience

Patience is one word, that I keep hearing very often these days. Life might seem unfair and testing, but in every waiting I have learnt that there is always a purpose. As the bible verse says, that everything happens for good for those who trust in the Lord. I believe in this waiting, there is something good. Waiting without compromising your values always bears spiritual fruit of patience. Waiting as a result of your own indiscipline, teaches your more discipline.

Whatever be the reason of the waiting, as a Christian our purpose in life is more spiritual, than earthly. Righteousness, peace and joy in the holy spirit, these are the things we focus on and strive towards. Everything else come and go, but remaining faithful in that we have before us is what counts. Not growing weary, but with a hopeful heart, pressing forward and doing our best in things at hand. As well as being thankful for all the beautiful experiences life has taught us, that you can leave behind. A treasure of learnt experiences, that might help someone move forward.

I believe in God, that He has plans to prosper us and not to destroy us. Trusting, thanking and waiting on Him, is all that I need this Christmas. And I wait in patience. Amen.
