Dry Bones to New Life 


Stripped of everything she had, there she stood with only dry bones.

Bones exposed to every harsh weather, only to dry out and die. 

Lying in a dry pit with no life in her, she waited, waited for her Saviour to redeem her. 

Then, came a mild wind to breathe back life into her again. 

Wind from God and not man. 

And she rose again, breathing and alive. 

A life given to her again, only to testify of the goodness of her God. 

That it is He and He alone, that gave her a new life to live for Him and Him alone. Amen.

( Inspiration from - Ezekiel 37 : 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath[a] enter you, and you will come to life.)

 Hi Readers,  I am Shilpa Catherine and i am in my Forties. I am from India, but live in Europe. I always considered writing as my favorite pastime as a teenager. Writing was and is therapeutic and gives me an opportunity to explore my everyday life and reflect on my past and present.
