BEING BRAVE

 Today's reflection

                                                               BEING BRAVE.

As I was reading about King David in the bible, I asked God to help me understand why is my work not being blessed? In David's case, he achieved the task and the bible tells us that God was with him. Then this is what the Holy Spirit reminded me.

                                                                  NOT BRAVE ENOUGH.

Don't let the negative words affect you.

Don't stop meditating on the word of God.

Don't be puffed up with pride, but stay humble.

Don't be timid, but brave.

Be open minded, and listen to what others say.

Take what is good and what makes you grow.

Let go of the negative spiral that takes you down a rabbit hole.

As Christians we are told not to be afraid, but instead be brave ( 2 Timothy 1:7) and that, confusion is from the devil ( 1 Corinthians 14:33). I experience confusion and fear in my life which does effect my confidence and performance. But when we read the characters in the Bible, who are favored by God, they are full of assurance and are brave. However, I understand that, this comes through consistent spiritual training and therefore I suppose God requires a steadfast heart to help us accomplish this level of perfection with the help of the Holy spirit (Hosea 6:6).
