Think Good

Today's reflection,

                                                                  Think Good

Thinking good keeps our mind at peace. I completely agree to it, but the process is complex. It takes conscious effort to remind us of all the good thinks happening in our lives, because life is an amalgam of both good and bad. As the weight of the negative experiences weighs us down, we have to remind the good admits the chaos. This, I think, requires practice and conscious effort, giving us a positive end result.

Personally, i think negative thinking creates, negative emotions and makes our lives even more miserable. On the contrary, good thinking keeps our mind at peace and makes us more effective. Here comes the question, as to what is good thinking? I think most of us get stuck with this question and we try different things.

This is my reference to good thinking, i mediate on this verse from the bible Philippians 4:8 and it keeps my mind at peace. However, to understand this verse we need to read the entire bible and know its definition of true, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy. The biblical book of Colossians Chapter 3 connects well with this verse, if anymore such verses you can comment below.

I choose to mediate on this verse because the end result is peaceful, true and guilt free. Attaining this peace is possible only after the calming of many storms, which are contradictory to our  inner nature and certain principles we have learnt. The good thing is our worldly laws mostly agree to it too. You need to read Colossians 3 to understand, how the laws agree.
